Le Weekend…and mountain biking!

In two weeks I start the fall semester for school. I am trying to get as much done as possible before the 6th, while I still have a little extra time to myself.
When school is in session, I try to make sure and have all my school work done on Friday, so that I have the weekend to focus on family and getting things made.
The weekends are time for fun! In the fall, my family and I do a lot of mountain biking. We live in a place that is absolutely perfect for this, and there are many, many trails all over the commonwealth for us to enjoy. Being outdoors is a big part of our lives, and staying “fashionably fit” is a MUST for me, or I am just not happy. Being unhealthy sucks.
Here are some images we have taken over the years from various trails we have been on.

  1. What a bless you can enjoy that kind of surroundings and breathe fresh air while doing exercise!
On my weekends I usually go for a run or take my dogs to the beach. In winter, we enjoy going to our country house where we can hike and let the dogs run free, and also is like going back in time. Electricity is solar, the stove runs on wood and at night there is only darkness around and you can enjoy every star in the sky! 😉

  2. Your country house sounds amazing. 🙂 I love looking at stars! That is what we love to do in the fall here. We make a bonfire on our property, drink hot cocoa and look at the heavens! LOVE IT!
Have a great weekend Rita 🙂
