Here is the clutch I have been working on. This came together without any problems, except at the end. I had to go through a lot of “thickness” with the needle in order to attach the lining, and do the final top stitching. The machine I have been using is just not cut out for such things. I can’t wait to get a new one!!
This purse now completes the outfit that was inspired by my “A Stroll through the park in Autumn” Polyvore set. I have re-posted a picture of it at the bottom here.
I am now about to work on another outfit that was also inspired by a set that I created on Polyvore. I am making a stripe cowl neck top and a british tan colored “throw on” jacket. I call it “throw on” because it is on the casual side, and it is something I would “throw on” to run errands, or sit around the bon fire with my family and roast marshmallows!
Here is the set that inspired this up and coming creation….
I even have some red booties to match! I just need a cute red hat, and a bag to go with!
So back to cutting out my outfit I go!
Until next post,
Amy

So pretty! Love it Amy!
Oh Amy! this one is fabulous! I love the colours of the leaves! Did you draft the pattern yourself? I love it!
Thank you Rita. π I am glad it is finally finished, so I can move on to other projects.
Thank you Katho π For this I did not draft the pattern myself. Instead I used a pattern I have had for a long time. I had always wanted to use it, so finally I did. π It is from Vogue pattern # 8527. You might be able to find this pattern on Etsy or Ebay if you wanted to give it a try, as it is out of print.
ohhhhhhhh – love love love this clutch! Well done!
Thank you Jessica! I am so happy you like it π
What a pretty clutch, and the fabric is a great find! Can't wait to see your throw on! π
Thank you π My jacket/cardigan is almost finished. I just need to do the hem. yay! Then I will be working on the top.
