Featured on The Train To Crazy blog and Project updates..

I would like to thank Andrea of The Train to Crazy Sewing and Design blog for featuring my “A stroll in Autumn Orange Coat” today.

Today is “Make it wear it Thursday” on her blog. Come take a look at all the wonderful things people are making and wearing! just click HERE to join in the fun.
If you have any little ones puttering around the house, you should also try out Andrea’s “Go To Leggings” pattern…

I love the pair of leggings here with the circular cut outs and bow! HOW CUTE! I would wear these if they were in my size! ๐Ÿ˜‰ These little leggings would make a perfect Christmas gift for little girls, along with a cute little tunic. Have a peek at all the Go To Patterns! There are some really adorable things to make with them. ๐Ÿ™‚

I cut out the jacket for my new “Autumn Snapshots” outfit. Today I will begin to sew it. (and if I have enough time, probably finish it!) I also will be cutting out the cowl neck top, which is a stripe fabric, so I need to make sure and line it up correctly. I found the fabric for the top at Fashion Fabrics Club. I looked all over the place for a knit that was red stripe, and the fabric I bought was about all that I found. I was hoping I would come across a “Missoni type” knit that was mainly red…but I couldn’t find one at the time. If anyone out there knows where I can find a knit like this, then please let me know! I have been looking everywhere. Anything like that with red being the main color seems to be hard to find. I have seen other colors, just not the red! This is when I wish I could snap my fingers and have a textile mill create what I want! LOL! but who wouldn’t right? I thought about making some fabric at SpoonFlower. Has anyone out there used them yet?? I would love to hear about your experiences with that.

Well it is time to hit the good old treadmill before starting school.
I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday!
Until next post,
