Happy Saturday!! Show and tell Saturday, Mountain Biking, The First Frost, and more

Happy Saturday everyone!! How is everyone today??

It is “Sew and tell Saturday” once again at Sew Country Chick. Come join in the fun by clicking HERE. I posted my A Stroll in Autumn Orange Coat today.

Today we are heading to York River State Park to get some mountain biking time in. It should be pretty chilly out there, as last night we had our first real frost! Winter is coming, that is for sure.

I will be shooting pictures of my “Black Peplum Sweater” tomorrow, and then posting the pictures up. I am almost done with the “Leaves are falling”Clutch as well, and that should be posted later on in the week.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures that John took while at FairyStone State Park. I love the family picture. I can’t wait for our next family adventure…which should be skiing this winter! YAY!

My Princess and BooBear!

I just love orange leaves!

There are a TON of acorns all over this year, which means we are in store for a COLD winter!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

  1. Lovely pictures Amy! I'm working on the 3rd quilt now and should have them all finished in a day or 2! Then I can get back on track with making clothes again. My kids are wanting me to finish their quilts just as much as I want to! I feel the need to post on my blog, but I have nothing to show yet. 🙂

  2. I love quilts. 🙂 Right now where I live, we are using them A LOT! LOL! It is so cold in my house, especially in the mornings. Your kids are lucky they have a mom who makes such amazing things for them 🙂 I bet they love it so much! I know I would.
I am glad you like the pictures. John does a great job with it.

  3. Thank you so much. Orange just makes me happy and feel warm inside. What is funny is that when I was younger, I did not care for the color as much. It is interesting how our tastes change as we grow! 🙂 Thank you for visiting my blog Merche. 🙂
