Last night I turned in my final project for my manufacturing class. I am so happy that it is completed!
Now on to my Journalism final draft. I still have some assignments to finish for my manufacturing class as well. I have to examine the stitching in various price ranges of garments. This requires a trip to the mall, and I am so not thrilled about that! It is Christmas season after all, and I totally don’t want to deal with the crazy traffic and fighting for a parking spot. UGH!
I have some changes coming up in my household after the first of the year, as well as on this blog.
I will be adding more fitness related material, my journey and experiments with prepping for photos and also the re-kindling of my personal training adventure.
As I have stated before, I will be creating workout wear, and swimwear this spring. I also have a ton of sundresses, summer outfits, and boating attire I will be putting together. I need to use up all the vintage fabric that my mom gave to me!
The next few months will be very interesting indeed. In just a couple of weeks, we find out where my husbands next duty station choices will be. For the first time ever we haven’t a clue what they might be. John’s commission will be kicking in, and so it is a whole new start within his career. I am excited to see what our choices will be. In the summer, if we are in fact leaving this area, we will be MOVING.
I have to be honest…I really loathe packing, but over the years I have become a PRO at it. During John’s career we have moved MANY times, so I know how to work the packing paper and bubble wrap.
As I am typing this I am sipping my jasmine tea, and having my morning post-cardio meal. Let me tell you a little bit about what I am having today…
1/3 cup of dry old fashioned oats
1/2 a banana
sprinkle of cinnamon
1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop of MRM 100% Natural whey in chocolate flavor
I take the oats and put them in a microwavable bowl. I chop up half the banana, and put it in the bowl with the sprinkle of cinnamon. I pour just enough water in, then pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes.
When it comes out, I stir well, then add the almond milk and the whey. I stir this until combined.
Before I have my breakfast I hit the treadmill for some cardio, but before I do that, I chug some water and down a few of the following supplements for added energy and fat burning oomph.
I buy my supplements from BodyBuilding.com. Their customer service is off the hook!! I get HAND WRITTEN notes from them, saying thank you! They are just amazing. When I place an order it is on my doorstep within a day or two, and NO LONGER. I have had a really awesome experience in shopping with them. I HIGHLY recommend them. All businesses can take a lesson from them. A happy customer is a REPEAT customer!
Today when my husband comes home we will be hitting the gym…our own personal gym that is! It is all in our garage. After we move I hope to get a couple new pieces of equipment. We have been collecting gym equipment for many years, and it gets used A LOT. I think it is about time to upgrade some of the old stuff, and add another piece of cardio equipment. If this keeps up, we will be able to charge people to use our garage! LOL…oh wait…we plan on doing something like this anyway… 😉
that is another story for later…. 🙂
It is back to school work for me, but before I go, here are some links to check out. Link parties for Wednesday…
Have a fantastic Wednesday everyone,
Until next post,
