What have you been up to this long weekend?? My family and I have been outdoors quite a bit. Yesterday the weather was so utterly beautiful, that there was no way we could stay inside!! We packed up our bikes and headed to Yorktown for a ride through the battlefields. We had a lot of rain the past week, and then it ended in snow, so there was A LOT of water everywhere. Originally we were going to head to York River State Park, but we were glad we didn’t. It would have been so muddy! So yesterday we just stuck to the paved roads. There were quite a few people out on bikes, and the place we usually park was PACKED! I really love being out and about on my mountain bike, and would feel lost without it! It really felt like spring yesterday. I think it is only something like 57 days until spring, but it feels as though it has already arrived.

My starry Seaside wrap dress was featured again, and this time on The Sew Can Do blog! Thank you Cheryl for the feature 🙂
I still have to sew the skirt on my yellow dress. I don’t know if I will get around to doing it today or not. The weather is nice again, and it is about to get C-O-L-D here, so I think my family wants to take advantage of the nice day outside.
I hope everyone has been having a great weekend!!
Until next post,
