The Easter Bunny is definitely on the way….The sky is an amazing shade of blue this morning after the crazy storm we had yesterday. We had a combo of heavy rain, snow, slush…you name it…and it fell from the sky.
The winds were HORRIBLE, and there were downed power and cable lines. As we drove over the Coleman bridge to go buy more paper for my school project, we noticed that the York river looked like a very angry ocean, and that the extra high tides had caused the water levels to devour the beach, and water flowed up on to the brick sidewalks!
I have 9-3/4 weeks of school left to go this semester, and as you can tell, I am counting the days for it to be over. This semester has proven to be the worst yet with work load. I just don’t have time for anything extra….in fact, I am writing this blog while my breakfast cooks. It is the only time I have to do it.
To keep from going ape gaga right now, I try to focus on the good things. Spring is in the air, and I have a vacation coming up. These thoughts keep me going.
The daffodils where I live are now blooming, and there are happy yellow flowers everywhere. Each year in the town where we live, they have a daffodil festival. Brent and Becky’s bulbs is right down the road from my house, so you can imagine what it looks like there.

Here are some spring images I like. I would really like to get up to DC sometime to see all the cherry blossoms. I have yet to do that. We usually take a LONG bike ride in the late spring along the C&O canal. It is amazing at that time of year. It is pleasantly warm, and the little wild roses are in bloom and the perfume from their petals fills the air. It is just lovely.

I cant wait for things to start looking more like this!!
I miss the lush green leaves on the trees and the cool grass!
YAY!!! spring and summer on the way!
I stated in a past entry that my husband and I were starting another blog. This is true, but it has been put on hold until our school semesters are over. There is no way we can fit it in until we have some extra time. The URL is ours, and ideas are set…we just need to get it going. I think late May is actually the perfect time to start it up. I will post more about that later once we get closer to school being done.
I need to get to work on my projects. I have yet to even start sewing my shirt this week!! EEEKKK!! I have been too darn busy with the design project. It is a “time eating monster”….I can’t wait for this class to be done.
I will leave you with a snapshot from Florida today….I know looking at this, really brightens my mood. I can’t wait to get the hell out of town for some R&R!!!
Until next post,
