FALL RTW 2013 PART 4 post B

Here is part B finally! This is the last part of my fall RTW 2013 posts. Today it is Temperly London, Valentino, Viktor and Rolf, Vionnet, and Zac Posen.

Up first…Temperly London…

Valentino….

Viktor & Rolf…

Vionnet…

And finally Zac Posen…

So there you are!! The main statement pieces that have been repeated in most collections are the tailored cape, and over the knee or mid knee boots. Skirt lengths are either long, or short (which I find nice) and a whole lot of 60’s influence is everywhere, as well as old Hollywood glamour and a touch of 70’s sophistication. A whole lot of fur is popping up as well…not just as whole pieces, like coats, but in trims, collars and cuffs. I ALWAYS opt for faux fur! I am not into the promotion of animal slaughter. Faux furs these days look fantastic, so there is no reason in my mind to kill an animal. Very feminine styles are all about, which again…I LOVE. I like dressing like a lady. Also the masculine suit look is here and there…but with Hollywood glamour, less Annie Hall.
I absolutely ADORE the rich bold colors. I have never been afraid of using color, so I am just in love with the yummy opulence of this seasons color palette.

Today I am headed out with my husband to buy some wood to construct a large frame in which to paint/dye a print on some fabric. I am anxious to see how this will turn out!! I might just create a DIY post just for this purpose…we shall see!! stay tuned for more.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
Until next post,
Amy
