I am still plugging away on my jumper and sweater outfit, but I just wanted to share this set that I whipped up yesterday while waiting for my dinner to cook.
This set is an outfit I will definitely be wearing this fall. I have the black coated jeans, the kitty cat shoes, and will be buying or making a top like this. All that is left is the coat and accessories…oh and lets not forget the pups!! We are going to be bringing a cute and fuzzy family member into our new place once we get moved. My son is so excited, and he talks about it every day.
I love the style of the coat, and while white is very big right now, I am not sure I would make my coat white. I still have my pearl blush pink wool, and I think I will make it out of that.
Recently I came across an app that I just love. It has been around for a while now and I have finally had a chance to give it the attention it deserves. The app is called Stylebook and it is all about organizing your wardrobe and creating new looks with what you have! YAY! It is a great tool to help you save money, and only purchase what you really need etc. Stylebook has been featured in many publications like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and the New York Times to name a few. It reminds me of the movie Clueless when she is getting ready for school in the morning, and she has this amazing computerized program that helps her decide on the “outfit for the day”…
|From the movie Clueless. Cher is one lucky girl to have such a closet!|
Stylebook of course is a more modern approach to this idea…Here is the video from Youtube all about Stylebook. I love it! I can’t wait to use mine. I have a bunch of my things already packed away in storage, so my complete cataloging will be finished once I get everything unloaded into my new closet.
Does anyone else out there have this app??? I would love to know what you think of it. Please do share! Leave me a comment below.
It’s back to work for me now…I need to get my sewing done for the day! My first day of fall semester is tomorrow! Here we go!!!
Until next post,
PS-I wanted to add that I posted up my Galaxy dress at the following link parties…check them out if you like! 🙂
