Here is my orange skirt, and completed just in time to say goodbye to autumn, and hello to the winter solstice!
The funny thing is, for our “winter solstice” it was 72 degrees outside when we were taking these pictures! LOL! It was more like the summer solstice!!! We obviously have storms on the way, hence the warm temps (it will be a high of 79 today, then drop to 40 tomorrow)
My “end of autumn” orange skirt is made from a cotton jersey. For outfit information see under the pictures below…
|A woman drove by in her car and yelled out “I love your pretty orange skirt! ” and then she gave me two thumbs up! Loved it! 🙂|
Skirt: made by me, based on this pattern HERE, Top: Victoria’s Secret HERE, Clutch: Victoria’s Secret: No longer available from store but found HERE. Shoes: by Qupid found HERE. Gold Hoop earrings: a gift from my husband, but similar HERE.
Tomorrow my Plaid skirt will be posted up here, so make sure to come back to check it out. I am currently working on a floral dress, a purple tweed skirt, and a light blue and also a pink coat/jacket!! Needless to say I will be busy during winter break sewing!! 🙂
I hope you are all having a wonderful December thus far. Enjoy! It will be spring before we know it!!
Until next post,
