Here is my grey and pink plaid skirt. I used the same pattern that I used for my “end of autumn” orange skirt. This skirt is made from a heavier wool suiting fabric that I purchased HERE. The top is from Victoria’s Secret, as well as the shoes, both found HERE and HERE. Earrings: similar ones HERE. Necklace: similar found HERE. Purse: Charming Charlie.
This skirt actually has a crinoline underneath it. After wearing it a bit, I think I won’t be wearing it again! LOL. It is really “fussy” and needs another layer added to the bottom of it. It would bunch and crunch when I walked, and I was so not digging that at all.
If you read my blog, then you know I originally wanted to purchase this skirt (below) but it was sold out! So I decided to make my own, and using my favorite colors added into the fabric…

Because I can not pump outfits out every other day right now (I have other responsibilities and kids!) I have decided that I will be adding a new feature to my blog. “How I styled it” or something along those lines. Every Friday I will be posting up outfits from my closet that I have styled. Not only will this add content, but it will also allow me to actually go though my closet and come up with new and exciting ways to wear the things I own! LOL! I will be getting organized, while creating new looks. Why not! This is what I call using my time wisely. 😉
Hopefully today I will get around to cutting more garments out. The dress I am making has absolutely NO zippers, or buttons of any kind…this is going to be interesting!!
Have a wonderful day today!
Until next post,
PS-I posted up at the following link parties. Check out all the Christmas goodies!
