Cozy Lounge Sweater
This is item #2 created from fabric in my existing fabric stash. This cozy lounge sweater, is made from an ivory wool blend, medium weight sweater knit. It has a small amount of drape, but is still a bit stiff. The fabric is rather warm, and makes for a perfect “lounge around the house on a chilly day” piece to add to your wardrobe.
When I first started out working on this sweater, the fabric was giving me nothing but troubles! It isn’t the most forgiving fabric in existence, and I ended up editing the finished sweater twice, before I finally said “ENOUGH! THE BUCK STOPS HERE!” Lol! I ended up cutting the length shorter than originally intended.
The neckline of the cozy lounge sweater can be worn more to one shoulder, or in a cowl style like Ciarra is wearing here for the photos. The sweater would also look nice with a pair of jeans and boots.
I have been considering making the pattern for this sweater available for free download. What do you think? Would you download it to make your own cozy sweater? Much like the lightweight asymmetrical sweater from the previous post, this sweater would also look nice in a lightweight jersey, or even a mohair or angora blend. If I were to make this available for free, would you like to have the option to create it in longer and shorter lengths? Let me know in the comments below. Your feedback is important to us. Thank you for your support!
