Day 10-Sleep

On day 10 I am very thankful for sleep! Once I became a parent, I realized how much I appreciated the simplicity of a good nights rest! Without sleep our bodies would not be able to heal. Getting enough sleep is critical to good health and wellbeing. I think in western society, people take sleep for granted. Businesses would thrive, and be more productive if the people who worked for them were well rested! I highly recommend bedtime rituals in which you turn off your computer devices (the light for them can mess with your sleep quality!) put some essential oils in your diffuser (lavender is my bae!) and pick up a BOOK and read it, or meditate! This will help relax your body and get you in the mood for a good night’s sleep. I have very vivid dreams each night, so I also like to keep a dream journal next to my bed. I have actually had prophetic dreams, and have even dreamt of the the same exact thing, in the same way as my daughter on the same night! Sleep is an amazing and mysterious thing. Let’s not depreciate the importance of sleep, but instead celebrate it!

To sleep like a child is the most amazing and beautiful thing! They can sleep peacefully anywhere! We all need to channel our childhood sleep patterns!
