Day 27-My Senses

On day 27 I am very thankful for my senses. To be able to see, hear, taste, smell, touch and feel is a gift…a gift often taken for granted by many. As I age, I notice that my eyesight gets a little more blurry year by year, and I now wear glasses to see distance, and I will sometimes put on magnifying glasses when sewing on dark fabrics. This has made me appreciate my eyesight even more. I have not taken my senses for granted ever, but in all honesty, they are not something I ever have thought about on a daily basis until now. I love the ability to hear my son play violin, or watch my daughter create new art pieces. I am so grateful I have been able to smell flowers, or my babies after a bath, or taste all the healthy food I have been lucky enough to be provided. I am so happy to have been able to feel my husbands arms around me, and my children’s hugs and kisses. To feel the wind in my hair as I race across the water, and smell the salty air of the ocean. I am so appreciative everyday for my senses, and I thank heaven for these divine gifts I have been given.
